Purpose

Provide funding to hire a professional, full-time staff person.

Circuit rider’s salary, Bureau-approved technical assistance, and training expenses.

Note on Eligible Organizations: Two or more municipalities must cooperate within a new intergovernmental effort by adopting an intergovernmental agreement.

Note on Funding: This is a four-year commitment of funding. 

• Year 1: Up to 100% of gross salary
• Year 2: Up to 75% of gross salary
• Year 3: Up to 50% of gross salary
• Year 4: Up to 25% of gross salary
• Training expenses: Up to $2,000
• Mentoring expenses: Up to $1,500

Match Funding Note: Local cost match begins in year 2 of funding.
