Purpose

Provide funding to assist with flood mitigation projects

Eligible Activities

Acquisition of land, engineering studies, construction and improvement, debris removal, installation of security measures, permit fees, costs to secure appropriate bonds/insurance, administrative costs

Eligible Organizations (Grants)

Municipalities , Councils of Government , Authorized Organizations , Institutions of Higher Education , Watershed Organizations , For-profit Businesses

$500,000 Maximum Per Project

None listed. Construction/inspection costs are limited to a maximum 10% of the grant award. Administrative costs cannot exceed 2% of the grant award.
