Purpose

This funding can be used to acquire land for public parks, open space, and recreation.

Match

50% Cash Match

This funding can be used to acquire land for public parks, open space, and recreation. These projects are most often funded through the Community Conservation Partnerships Program (C2P2). Grant funding can be utilized for land acquisition, conservation easements, the stewardship of parks and open spaces, or changes in ownership or use for DCNR-funded properties. 

A 50% cash match or non-cash match equal to 50% of the total project cost is required.
